Changes to my Study programme

Well today I would like to mention what I would like to talk in regards on my professional curriculum of sociology. The first thing that will change, it would be introducing or add more feminists author in regard of sociology theory, pointing out the input of Latin-American authors. Also, I would add as minimum subject as a must obligate the racism subject.

I consider this changing to be urgent because many social issues are related to it and not only to a class level, although is connected to racism and gender, therefore is necessary an holistic view, otherwise it will tend to reproduces certain layers of episteme injustice. 

I consider necessary a change, in regarding of the specialization subjects.After the changing of the curriculum it was set up four areas where 24 credits was a must of the 52. Sometime, to set up the timetable there isn’t available subjects of the interest area when the student want to take it up, and many times they lass for one semester, and due economic issues the university leave only the courses of the permeant contract staff teachers.

Perhaps there are more themes that we need to look at it, but in my personal opinion, those change are a must, as professional we should have a better prepartion.
